Three different fan speed settings let you control the velocity of the air, whilst the osculating front slats will carry the cooled air over a great area. The 48 litre in-built tank can be attached to a continuous water supply, such as a mains water feed, but the overflow protection system within the unit will prevent excess water escaping. This evaporation air cooler features three-sided cooling filters mounted on four castors to move around your chosen environment at ease, and the slim design enables the cooler to be moved and stowed away in various tidy spaces when not required. Evaporative cooling is more energy efficient than typical air conditioning systems which uses vapor-compression or absorption refrigeration cycles. Evaporative Coolers cool air through the evaporation of water based on the fact that water absorbs a relatively large amount of heat in order to evaporate. Cold, or preferably iced water, is pumped to the cooling filters, where warm air, drawn in by the fan, is blown over it, this process cools the air and thus it leaves the cooler at a lower temperature than it enters, the continual recirculation of this air reduces the ambient room temperature.
